I wonder if you can tell me what happens if I don't have the EP, GP or SP required? I assume obvious is obvious, I don't have Pets so I won't get Buddy the dog if I download Newbie, but what about the other, more subtle packs?
The clothing item you don't have just gets removed. They don't get replaced, so if it was pants, sims in your game will be wearing underwear.
