While on the subject of inclusion, many in the Simming community (me included) asked to be able to create bigger Sims. Bodyweight, size, stretching the limbs not just belly etc. TS4 did have the best body size sliders.
However, how many of those type Sims are on the gallery as a real Sim to play and not just as a joke? Can we count them? Or would we just have less than five and all the rest (if not jokes) are all pretty Sims. No matter the gender. How many players actually build an obese Sim and play them just as they would a pretty/attractive Sim? When people take pictures for their stories and say look how diverse I am, see all my skin types and culture in my game! and all my gay and trans Sims! Do they ever show a diverse neighborhood with actual obese Sims in it that they play as their favorite Sim, as normal and not some sort of joke or dud or goofball type Sim? No. So, I'm about over all this representation stuff and would like for Maxis to move on to the heart of a game and gameplay because in reality we are all bigoted about something and we all have our hangups about others, and we all do things we accuse other people of doing because we see the backlash in this thread if I even mention perhaps other type players should be represented, too, and get their content and their updates and yearly celebrations I'm called a name. However, the obese Sim is a very good example of others own failings to be 'inclusive.'
Inclusive enough to play Sims with glasses without making them some sort of nerd? I doubt it.
