hah, yea that happened to me yesterday too xD I was like "who the heck would give a toddler a phone?"

that, for me, isn't working for some reason. either that or I did it wrong lol - I'll try again next time I play anyway. but the fact we still need to rely on mods for common-sense things like this is greatly ridiculous to me

Here is a useful tutorial on how to use the MC Tuner: https://deaderpool-mccc.com/#/doc/mc_tuner with that you should be able to search for phone interactions like surfing on the web etc. and disable the animations for autonomy. They listed some on that site actually if you scroll down to "phone" where they have common actions listed. Hopefully that will work.

You can also go to MCCC > MCCC Settings > Notification / Console / Menu Settings > Phone Texts and silence the phone if you don't want people calling you about festivals and things like that.
