Yes it matters. A lot of us are hoping Seasons will be announced. We're also wondering if multiple packs will be announced and some think it might be Sims 5. "KaeChan2089;c-16402846" wrote:
Although I agree it would be no way TS5.... Am I the only one who wished they'd just drop TS4 (it's nothing but a lost cause imo) and start anew with TS5 ? Just me?...I'll see myself out...
I mean it would depend how good they made sims 5. I don’t feel like it would be any better then sims 4 at this point but who knows. Also the sims 4 seems far from done if they can fix it up and add a lot id prefer it over waiting again for them to make sims 5 packs.- paradiseplanet27Seasoned Newcomer

I don't think it matters of what is coming; something is coming alright, and regardless what is revealed someone won't be happy and someone will. It only matters how many will be happy about it and how many won't. - paradiseplanet27Seasoned Newcomer

That seems to be the point.
Wouldn’t the “next Sims experiences” be new experiences by default? Seems like both of you are playing a game of semantic police, but carry on. Nothing misleading here.
Not necessarily. It could be something we have in PC that they are releasing on mobile. And just because it's new, doesn't mean it's next. Plus, it's not what the text said. The text stated next, not new. So the difference was important to them, so it should be quoted correctly.
I do think in this case semantics are important: if it were Seasons, they probably wouldn't use 'new' as much as they would use 'next' since the concept of seasons in the Sims series is nothing new but seasons still has not joined the Sims 4 as of yet.
If it were Sims 5, they probably wouldn't use 'next' as much as they would use 'new' because the Sims 5 as it is would be a 'new' game reveal at EA Play, though in this case 'next' could may well be used as Sims 5 would be the 'next' game of the series from Sims 4.
If you want to read into it that way, Sims 5 sounds more easy to interpret as the reveal then some other thing, but yet it's still up in the air over what kind of ace is up EA's marketing sleeve...
SO I just go back to my original position of 'none of this matters' because it really could be anything... "Dannydanbo;c-16402933" wrote:

So you are playing games with semantics. The statement “just because it’s new, doesn’t mean it’s next” just doesn’t make sense. Whatever the “next experience” is with The Sims 4 will be a “new” experience to the game. It’s that simple. The mobile game already has tons of PC content including content included in DLC, which in turn means they aren’t going to be making a huge fuss about PC content being added to the free to play mobile game.
It’s also important to understand the tweet wasn’t even in English. It was auto-translated via twitter. You have no idea what context they were presenting in the tweet, and you have no idea what the English version will say.- DomainGoat90New SpectatorI don't understand why some people keep thinking they will announce the Sims 5.. like said earlier; there is still enough milk left in the Sims 4 cow to milk before even thinking about The Sims 5.
Do I want The Sims 5? Yes, because Sims 4 is not my cup of tea, but you know what? Maybe The Sims 5 won't be either.
Doesn't take away the fact that there is still so much they can add to The Sims 4 that brings them enough money...
My second pets stuff, thirth pet stuff, fourth and so on.. And Seasons, University, Witches, Fame etc.
My guess is they will announce the next EP and have a hands on there? Since they say you can PLAY the new experiences?
that makes me wonder though; IF they have the playable EP there, it will release not very much later I guess?
So I don't know? Maybe they announce the EP earlier in the next quarter and have hands on play at EA play and release it a few weeks after?
We will see, but I HIGHLY doubt it will be Sims 5. - HermitgirlNew SpectatorI don't understand it either... but it's funny to try.
Wanting to Sims 4 to be over when it's incomplete so they can bring out this wonderful Sims 5 is like stealing a husband and then being surprised and hurt when they turn around and cheat on you. I mean seriously, do people who want this really intend on buying it if that happens ... or are they just tweaking the tail and hoping it fails just because they think it bothers people to say so. I positive that that won't happen but I gotta say if it did I wouldn't be buying the next iteration. I mean if you really do want Sims 5 think it through.. that's all I'm saying.
On topic though it's probably about the next EP. - they're going to reveal the addition of THREE new life stages guaranteed. they will be: Tweens, Super Tweens, and Older But Not Old Enough for A Comfortable Retirement In This Economy Adults. i have seen the future and this is it.
- catloverplayerSeasoned AceKeep in mind one of these experiences could come in an update e.g. cars. It doesn't have to just be on packs.
