That seems to be the point.
Wouldn’t the “next Sims experiences” be new experiences by default? Seems like both of you are playing a game of semantic police, but carry on. Nothing misleading here.
Not necessarily. It could be something we have in PC that they are releasing on mobile. And just because it's new, doesn't mean it's next. Plus, it's not what the text said. The text stated next, not new. So the difference was important to them, so it should be quoted correctly.
I do think in this case semantics are important: if it were Seasons, they probably wouldn't use 'new' as much as they would use 'next' since the concept of seasons in the Sims series is nothing new but seasons still has not joined the Sims 4 as of yet.
If it were Sims 5, they probably wouldn't use 'next' as much as they would use 'new' because the Sims 5 as it is would be a 'new' game reveal at EA Play, though in this case 'next' could may well be used as Sims 5 would be the 'next' game of the series from Sims 4.
If you want to read into it that way, Sims 5 sounds more easy to interpret as the reveal then some other thing, but yet it's still up in the air over what kind of ace is up EA's marketing sleeve...
SO I just go back to my original position of 'none of this matters' because it really could be anything...
