@catloverplayer @Phantasi33 I feel like you two have it, it's an Outdoor Retreat refresh Including an updated PlantSim. We got that PlantSim scenario as a surprise, they weren't a big topic until that dropped. The frog collection scenario keeps with the outdoor theme of late in the recent scenarios. Too many outdoorsy references lately to be entirely coincidence. You said it, camping is nothing new, we've had for a while. It feels like it has to be a refresh. They've said more of those were coming, but all we've had to date is Spa Day.
If it has to be an update for Granite Falls, then a plantsim added to CAS would be nice. Not everyone wants to go to all the lengths of getting one in every story they make. I loved that about the Sims3(you could take any bin sim or any other sim and make it whatever supernatural you wanted right in CAS and look at how they would look) and loath it in the Sims4. Hold hands sounds like London Bridge or some game sims can play as singing interaction. Maybe they will make a portion of the place swimmable? A hammock, new gear, IDK at this point. I was hoping for Sulani underwater mermaid area and houseboats refresh myself.
Looking back the occults in TS3 were fairly lame, but I'm with you on missing the ability to create one from scratch in CAS. I doubt we'll ever see it in TS4, but I will mourn not having that feature.
They've been talking about swimmable waters for awhile and all we have are Sulani and Tartosa. I don't know how many times I've wanted to build a house in Sulani with an underwater glass room
I have never understood why we can't do it. That would be so amazing!
With Little Campers and what looks like werewolves this patch and probably the SDX will be outdoorsy. Adding games old fashioned kids games, hide and seek, ring around the Posey, stuff like that would be fantastic
We also have the University World, the Country Living World and The Snowy Escape World. All 3 came with swimming places. - EmmaVaneSeasoned Veteran

You can swim in Britechester (all 3 hoods), Henford-on-Bagley (all 3 hoods, I think) and Mt. Komorebi (bottom neighbourhood in the river) too. "catloverplayer;c-18112678" wrote:

My sims need to get out more. Out to some place other than bars and nightclubs that is. I rarely use Britechester or Mt. Komorebi so no surprise I missed them. I just started getting serious about Henford so i probably would have found it at some point. Good to know though."EmmaVane;c-18112680" wrote:

I totally missed that. I need to explore more and not just use the same worlds over and over. I'm in a rut with my game.- BabykittyjadeRising Observer

I miss them too. I enjoyed those monthly livestrems where they share different things. Seems to have stopped after the last simmer outrage what a shame.
But whatever works best for them is okay with me ? because they have no reason to put up with mistreatment."HillOfTara;c-18111782" wrote:
Since they got kinda attacked the last few times I doubt they have guru's volunteering for them anymore, it's sad but people were so cruel they had to turn off chat and comments...
I have never caught an actual live stream. I have only seen bits of them on Youtube. And I always liked when they popped up on there. What the heck was happening in the live streams? Why did the last one go so bad?
Cause people were mad about them giving Korean stuff for Chinese new year and not calling it specifically Chinese new years because they wanted to celebrate all of Asia. Quite a few Chinese modders announced their retirement because that and left the game.
Then they were mad about the Russian incident. Then they were mad about the wedding pack bugs back to back ? - ChaoticMoiraNew Spectator

And they were attacking the gurus in the chat over these things I take it? That really sucks. I think they should live stream and just not allow chat or something. People are sometimes really rude to the team on twitter too. People are bizarre. - Yeah there was also a dev that said smth on their personal account about how discouraged they are because their co-workers have their looks made fun of and also their demeanor or energy criticized and etc.
- Karamazov123Seasoned HotshotHonestly even outside of the chat, livestreams were plagued with problems. A few times, the Gurus were struggling to explore things, talk about what they had to cover, weren't fully prepared, or weren't used to speaking in public. You had to find the right Gurus for the job, and even then you'd probably need to plan things out. On top of that, it was common for the game to glitch up royally in a stream. It's a bad look when what you're trying to advertise doesn't even work correctly.

That is disgusting. Some people are horrible. They aren't actors, or influencers trading on their looks, and charisma for crying out loud; as if that isn't all bull anyway.. They are real people. Honestly if they didn't show up looking like me, or my neighbour, and talking like a normal human I would be suspicious. This is why I am an introvert. People suck. - QueenSaraphineSeasoned Hotshot

Being an introvert and having an extrovert saying “oh you’re not a loner you just need to hang out with me more”
