Maybe the "new Sims experience" could be optional multiplayer a la Stardew Valley.
definitely unrealistic but what would everyone's feelings about that be?

I wouldn't play a multiplayer sims game. I need to be in control of everything. I'm sure there are people out there that would love an online aspect to The Sims. The community for The Sims Online wasn't big, but it did exist during a time before online gaming took over everything.
