MCCC Help?!

At the moment I used Manage Worlds to move the children back into the main apartment with the mother. I may leave it at this, but I’d like to know the settings to stop MCCC breaking up marriages (please and thank you).

MCCC> Population > Moving Settings> Bypass played household > enable.

MCCC> MC Pregnancy > Marriage Sim Selection > Bypass played household > enable

MCCC> MC Pregnancy > Pregnant Sim Selection > Bypass played household > enable

MCCC> MC Pregnancy > Partner Sim Selection > Allow Affairs Percentage > 0

That's all I know. Can't find any for pets. I think these settings are default though, so MCCC shouldn't touch your played households in the first place. Do check anyway.

I realised a little something important. (The kittens are a separate issue and may be the game rather than MCCC..)
The family that broke up weren’t officially married. I made them in CAS as fillers for one of the apartments and almost certainly forgot to set the marriage in CAS (I think I did the kids right). My bad!
Still could do with tips on the settings, but having to take some responsibility for the specific problem. A bit shame-faced here..

@NRowe Happens to the rest of us. I forgot I unchecked my 'widowed family' as a played household. Within 2 days mccc notified that she remarried. Oops. ?

I have a question. What type of file is MCCC exactly? Is it a .rar or .zip? I need to know because, for some unknown reason, my computer refuses to let me unzip a .rar file even with outside applications. I want to install MCCC but I can't if its a .rar

I'm feeling really stupid here so hopefully someone can help. I can't get neighborhood stories to work while I have my mods folder installed. I take it out everything's cool. With it in I get a popup for an exception from MCCC. I click on the discord button and it doesn't take me to the MCCC channel. Instead it takes me to something called Sims After Dark. And just looking around in there is totally bewildering. Even if that would somehow happen to be the right channel what in the world do you do when you get in there? I figured I'd get in there and it would tell me what file I need to delete. I am so lost and confused right now.?

@DaniRose2143 Most likely the exception is being caused by another mod, MCCC is just making it so you can see it happen. You could try adding mods back just a few at a time until you find the culprit. I keep mods in folders named for each mod author and when I'm trouble shooting I move one folder back at a time, to identify which "modder" has a mod with an issue. It's the same principle as the 50/50 method, but different.

Anyway, the reason you are having problems with discord is because you are following the link at Deaderpool's website and it is outdated. The MCCC support channel is different now. Go to his patreon instead, the link for discord support there, which is in the very top post under "About Deaderpool," is current.
There's a "Start here" channel, so if you follow the right link to open discord you will definitely know where to go next.

I was just headed back in here to say I figured out the exception at least. I was being dizzy Dani. The problem was Twisted Mexi's T.O.O.L. files. This happens every time I leave them in after I'm done with them. I have to install them, go in do what I need to do, save, exit, remove the files and then go back in. Clunky but it works. The reason it dawned on me was, I was sitting here saying to the ceiling, Mexi's last exception locator was so much easier....oh wait, stupid girl, you still have T.O.O.L. installed.??‍♀️?

I do the same thing with all of my cc. Every creator has a folder, except the old files that didn't have the creators name in the filename. Those are in one generic folder.
