Meeting Aliens

Unless it has changed I believe Alien Night at the bars happen on Tuesday nights. The theme nights can happen even if you haven't been strictly invited to them you just need to trigger them by going to a bar on the night in question. So have your sim go to a designated Bar (the Get Together ones work the best but I have had triggered theme nights happen at bars that I placed from the gallery so it might work at any of them) not a club or a lounge it has to be a bar and the even should trigger to start up for you.

As they said you'll definitely meet them in the science career I actually haven't had many run-ins with randomly discovered aliens in my games lately but I usually ignore the theme nights so that might be why.

You could also create alien families and populate the world with them for your sim to run into. Not as much fun but it would get the job done if the rest didn't happen.

Monday: Bear’s Night (if you have Outdoor Retreat)
Tuesday: Alien Night
Wednesday: Ghost Night
Thursday: Knight Night
Friday: Ladies Night
Saturday: Singles Night

I've never been abducted in TS4 or made an alien as they don't really interest me, but some NPCs are aliens in disguise. I recently discovered this by accident when I took a townie into CAS for a makeover (the getups some sims choose, good plum man!). If your legacy rules are that you can only marry NPCs, I suggest taking the townies into CAS when they spawn in, just to check. If you don't alter them, I personally don't think of it as cheating, but everyone has different opinions on that ;) Either way, hope you find your ET!

Just wanted to update and say this worked! I had my sim go to a Windenburg bar on a Tuesday night and sure enough it was aliens night. My sim met the alien love of his life and hopefully they'll have some alien toddlers soon!

Play a scientist, or build a rocket and fully upgrade it to travel to Sixam with the wormhole generator.

Aliens are in the town. (At least every where in my town)

I can't answer this. I can only say that without having a scientist in the household until after the first two abductions, my advice is just have a Sim hang outside late at night. My first abduction in my Legacy Challenge game (the above mentioned game) my Gen. 2 Heir was coming home late from the bar. He'd lost his wife to a tragic grill fire while they were camping, and a friend invited him out. He got abducted. Nothing occurred. Second time around, his heir was in his tuxedo about to be wed when he got abducted. I clicked on the wedding arch and suddenly he was returned, then I about kicked myself thinking I'd just goofed it up. He and his new wife tried for baby their first night. She got preggars. Little did I know he was also in the family way. She had a girl, despite listening to Alternative music. A few short hours later, he had twins. A girl, then, thankfully a boy. I was playing a Patriarchy. It took several generations to have the lavender tint disappear, but turns out the babies are full aliens.

I agree with you OP. I bought GTW after EA essentially removed alien abductions. I do not use mods, and rarely use cheats unless it is moo, or taking away money for a rags to riches game. I know that I can create a "fake alien" in CAS to play, but I want to have an alien in my household that has the alien powers. Marrying an alien produces a "fake alien" as in it's a hybrid that does not have powers just looks like an alien. I have tried all the suggestions here, working as a scientist, rocket ship, alien night at bars, but not once in 2 years of playing have any of my sims ever been abducted. According to all the guides, the only way to get a alien with powers is through male abduction and pregnancy :'( . At least the new Vampire game pack allows for players to create a real vampire and skill them up, and I really hope that the devs do not tweak this or tone down the vamps in anyway. I have given up hope that I will ever see it happen, but I wish you the best of luck!

Well, i went to a bar with my sim and was about to have a romance with someone i called ''sim'' in there but then i saw a glowing thing in his body and it notified me he was a alien. there is more chance to meet aliens in a bar i think. i met 2 aliens in there

So I went to rattlesnake juice in oasis springs, on a Tuesday, and there were a bunch of people. I got to know all of them and I joked around with them all and nothing. they weren't aliens. is it just me? am I doing something wrong?
