I don't know which is the worst. Dealing with culling and random romances, or the messed up memory system and family tree. Hopefully, some of these, or all, could be fixed with an EP bringing back generational play. I haven't found an explanation from Maxis explaining why they changed memories in that 2015 patch, either. It's just an odd way to preserve memories when the screenshots are jumbled all together, and it doesn't sort things by family. And the emotions attached to the screenshots don't make much sense. Until it is fixed I won't use the memory system at all. Kind of a waste to have it in the game when it comes up short of expectations or doesn't mean anything to our Sims. Why look at a wedding photo if it throws an inspired mood? What's wrong with attaching a happy moodlet to the photo of such a momentous occasion?
