Midnight release? A question

I can't promise that it will be the same for Seasons, but I'm in GMT +8, and C&D came out at 11 PM on the Wednesday before the release date. Basically an hour before the midnight of release day

If it's the same as the other expansions, yes. I don't think it releases at midnight in each time zone, though. For example, in the US we have multiple time zones, the one that's furthest ahead is EST. C&D was released for the whole country at midnight EST, which would only be 9:00 pm for someone in say, California.

So it might be a country by country thing. But I do remember people were playing C&D very early using Australian VPNs and stuff like that.

Yeah I remember the VPN thing too, which only seems to complicate the issue.
