My Sims tend go to the object that has the higher fun rating. Also, if they start a book on one computer and then select another computer to finish it they will return to the original computer even if you sit them down at a new computer. The whole thing is very annoying. I want my writer to sit and write where I created an inspirational environment. No, they always go to the programmer computer in the focused area because that computer has a higher fun rating. I usually just give up and buy the same computer for all Sims and cheat the aura they need to get the skill boost.
