Mirrors that are transparent from the back?

Hello. I love using mirrors, but I hate the way there's no option to see through them from the back, so when you move the camera behind the mirror, the mirror flat out blocks your view, unlike even the view where the walls are down and the walls and pictures on the wall do not block your view. Is there some sort of mod that makes mirrors be invisible if you're seeing them from the back?

I can understand the need to see mirrors on walls inside your house so you can click on them, but when you're BEHIND the mirror, why can't the mirror disappear until you're back to being in front of mirror (with camera). Would be a nice change, especially since mirrors add a HUGE visual to the game via their reflections (thinking the mirrors that take up the wall from top to bottom specifically)

I know this is an old thread but I've searched high and low for mirrors that are invisible from behind, and for tutorials to do it myself or mods but with no luck. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

@flippinmary Thank you for resurrecting this! I hope the moderators don't close this for necroposting because this is a huge pain in the ass! I tried making a dance studio covered in mirrors before and walls down view does not work. I love using mirrors in game and IRL.  I have a wall full of about 30 mirrors of various sizes in my house and I want to recreate that in game, but 1)Mirrors and gameplay is ridiculous. 2)You can't move mirrors up or down at all, even with cheats.  I think that EA can improve upon mirrors exponentially.  I get why they programmed them that way, though, so you can always find a mirror when you need one, but @ReflectedLight 's suggestion about just making them invisible from behind is perfect. Kind of like the half walls up half walls down view.

Pity I can't find any more, but this would be perfect for your dance studio.  :)

I would love to have decorative only mirrors. I understand why they are the way they are because they are an activity item. But I often choose not to use them for this very reason.
