Missing Chicken After Festival

Question

So...I entered my chicken in the festival. She one first place but when the festival ended she disappeared. She's not in my inventory or in the coop...Did I lose my chicken?

ETA: OMG! She was in my HOUSEHOLD inventory!!! So glad I didn't lose her forever! lol

I just lost my chicken too, never thought to look in household inventory. I kept clicking on actions for my chicken and there was no "place in inventory." Thank you for posting!
