I didn't just dislike the kissing cheak thing, I hated that my Sims were constantly jumping up from the table when they were eating or in the middle of a conversation too, to greet every sim they knew even slightly, when they walked in. So I got a mod to just do away with them all. There are mods that just prevent some of those interactions though.
