  • In-game, the floatie suits are really cute looking. It's worth getting if you're interested in the idea of floaties.
  • I really love the Modern Luxe. It's a wonderful addition to my packs & kits. Plus, the glass makeup dresser mirror gives an advance modern look. Also, Modern Luxe is so not a 1920s-1930s Vintage. Way too Modern Retro. B)
On another note, I like the new Swimwear Bathing Suites & Sandals in Poolside Splash. Every Summer I always wanted my sims to have more choices of outfit designs. Poolside Splash is a welcome addition with my other packs. Plus, I so love the cute floaties for children. B)

  • Both are a big yawn. Much prefer they put their energy into fixing plants, re-enabling played sims to participate in the hack-a-thon, and otherwise fixing the multitude of bugs and glitches that we have endured since the TS4 earth cooled.
  • Although placing a bunch of throw pillows on a bed is nice looking, it's not very practical during gameplay. Your sim's head will disappear into all those pillows when they lay down to sleep. Unless, of course, you don't mind watching a headless sim sleeping... (looking at you Vlad!) :D

But they'll be great for using on couches, armchairs, benches, floors, etc where they won't glitch into your sims (at least not too obviously) like they would at the head of a bed.

I'm expecting to see a gazillion cc recolours of that simple little throw pillow in the upcoming weeks.... it's the sort of thing cc creators love to recolour to their hearts' content (because it's such a super easy object mesh to work with).

I don't know about anyone else, but I'm pleasantly surprised by the Modern Luxe kit. The styling is not really my cup of tea (I rarely play wealthy sims living a luxurious lifestyle), I bought the kit solely for the record player, wall art tv, throw pillow, and curtains. But the marble bust, wall art, glass wall shelves and matching glass bookshelf are all fab too (with great swatches).... and will be getting a lot of use in my game.
  • I’d love to see more of the swimming kit. It’s not the build mode/ gameplay objects I’m looking for, but it does interest me to see if it’s worth getting. There are many kits that I don’t get, but I still get a few.
