Modern Menswear Kit: Available Now!

At first I was a bit disappointed because I don't like the look of the items in the pic The Sims first tweeted, but then I saw the blog post and there's definitely some good stuff. Some nice looking shoes and trousers for instance. I will have to see an overview of the items of course, but I am curious about this kit. There are still some basic items missing for males but those should come with a free BG update.

Oh wait, I actually do have words. Sims can have more to wear to their Ugly Sweater Parties this year. Yay!

Just to be clear, I personally have no problem with men in skirts and the like. I just have a problem with unattractive styles, and in my eyes these are not attractive at all. We already have enough ugly male clothing in the game. We don't need more. But the good news is that this one leaves me free of having to make a buy-or-not decision. :lol:

I'm excited and disappointed at the same time if that's possible lol. I almost jumped through the roof when I heard of a men's kit!! Though I did not see everything it has I'm already not feeling the feminine styles and Christmas sweaters. Not when there are a bazillion super awesome male styles out there ??? A ton in that men's fashion thread by one of the members here. I can't think of their name now but I think it starts with a G.
I wonder what they thought would happen if they made this a manly man kit....

Unless it's a kilt, my Sim males will never wear a skirt. I will likely not purchase this one.

I don't think I'll ever understand the appeal. But at least it's something different from the glut of comfycore sweaters we've been getting, and are still getting.

No offense taken. Honestly, I don't want my men in skirts unless I decide it. Or the game glitches and gives male sims female clothing, like it did with Alexander Goth.

I find this cool but I expected ppl to be upset that it's not "traditional" menswear. I mean it's normal for woman to wear pants or masculine styles so why not men? I feel it's because feminity is seen as "bad" and etc.

But anyways I think it's cool... it's not like it's just skirts. It has pants and sweaters too. A lot of clothes in the feminine category are not "traditionally" feminine so it makes sense for them to add some non traditional menswear to the masculine category.

Me reading the news: We're finally getting a men's fashion kit! Perhaps this could be the first kit I will buy.

yeah like sure its cool to not be stuck on gender roles but tbh we have lots of clothing like this in game
