Brace yourselves. The randomly-generated townies are about to get SERIOUS.
I am sooo looking forward to that! I love the wacky townies! - NetzspannungSeasoned NewcomerI can understand that skirts for men are not for everyone, but I actually don't have a problem with it. I just don't think that I'm a fan of that particular skirt in the pictures of this kit shown so far. There are actually some skirts in the game currently that come closer to the style of skirt I prefer for males.

Yeah. Honestly, this stuff is super safe, which is par for the course for Sims 4. The only thing that says "defying the norms!!!" is that men are in skirts, and even then the skirts we've seen so far are super boring. It's just regular, traditionally feminine clothes on men. We already have super-feminine skirts for better contrast, and we already have more stylish and unique skirts for guys who want to look swaggy.
EDIT: Netzspannung's pics are exactly what I'm talking about.
I want regular men's fashion. But if we had to go for niche and boundary-pushing, I'd love something less... this. I'd like to see them take cues from the gender**** movement. Or just make clothing that's actually subversive by coating it with very masculine traits. Like for the skirts, add some spikes and mudflap girls. Really rugged, punk-ish jackets with a bra and no shirt. Fishnet tops. Thigh-high boots. Go freaking nuts. It'd be ridiculous and still be super niche, but at least it'd be fun and actually defy expectations a bit. - Omri147New SpectatorI feel like this kit would have been more exciting if we couldn't already put skirts on male Sims, or if we didn't already have 20 types of sweaters in the game.
I'm just... unimpressed, as with every kit so far (except Courtyard Oasis, I like that one). - EA_CadeCommunity Manager

Yea I was thinking of something more like mens cyber punk,Crop tops, leather pants, lace up pants, ripped front denim pants, as more boundary pushing.....
Plus we still have no fitted jeans, both low rise and high rise. All of the men's stuff look kinda.... frumpy?
I don't know why we can't say that word lol
But I mean the punk style like that video game....
I just removed it from our profanity filter, I've no idea why it was in there when it's such a broadly used term. - Kyr0eNew Spectator"Pushing Boundaries"
...how about fixing the issues with different gender frames using their opposites' clothing, and being more creative with your masculine cas assets, whilst also recognising the lack of traditional styles?
No?
Back to it, then. - I can already visualize Mortimer Goth, Viktor Feng and Geoffrey Landgraab showing up in every situational event with these...
- SthenastiaNew SpectatorI'm okay with this KIT but I only I can not understand why we receive couture fashion before the casual one. Maybe I'm weird but I want to have some men look "masculine" (Don for example).
- Time to start searching for a David Rose sim. ?
https://twitter.com/TheSimsDesigns/status/1460679735286145031?t=-wQk37wT7_RrJTyUQbZtaA&s=19 - When I saw the announcement, I literally gasped out loud. Men's Clothing!? YES! This is what I've wanted for so long!
Then I hurried online to find some pictures, and my excitement has waned a bit.
I was hoping that if they did a men's fashion kit, that the clothes would be a bit more... "manly man" style. I think these clothes, at first glance, don't seem as versatile as I'd really like. I dress all my townies, so I'm always in need of versatile, everyday wear for my world.
Though, I often have my sim do photoshoots ingame (for story, he sometimes models) and I wanted to do a photoshoot with him in a dress. The idea was based off of Harry Style's Vogue cover, but I wasn't able to find a nice dress for men. I think I could find use with a kit like this, but I still would have prefered a different style choice.
