Moments that make you tear up..

Last night, my sim's mom passed away. She tried to keep her son calm while the Grim Reaper came. The fact that she out her son in front of her grief made me cry.

Strangely enough, a break-up (that I had planned, mind you) made me a little sad. My sims Julian and Katrina were living together and they had a huge fight and broke up, so Julian moved out and he wouldn't stop crying. He would stop only to start sobbing again.

And once I had made Mrs. Villareal and then killed her so I could have her ghost in the mansion. Max kept going upstairs to her urn and crying nonstop even though everyone else wasn't and that got me. Perhaps that's why he's so evil.

I always tear up when my sim bakes a cake for birthday and another sim takes one piece so you can't place the candles on the cake.
Tragic

I don't normally get sad when my sims die, but I do have one family that I'm very attached to, so I was very sad when the twins who acted as the unofficial founders of my unofficial legacy passed away (of old age, luckily). They were the first sims I've ever played from birth to death, so it was a little bittersweet to see them go. However, I still play all of their descendants, so it's not as sad as it could be.

Well it may not have made me tear up (my mother has always told me I'm a bit of an emotional robot) but I did have a moment the other day that tugged at the heart a bit. It was the day that my main households only child Carolina was ready to move out on her own. The day she was leaving, I had her say goodbye to their dog Bandit. Hes an old boy and part of her story it that she is going to be "backpacking" through the worlds to find herself, so I'm not sure if she's going to get a chance to see him again. It was a bit of a harsh reminder that my own dog is getting up there in years.

Lately I tend to stay away from owning pets, at least for now, because my family lost our five year old American Bulldog to Lymphoma in February of this year and I actually almost lost it when my sims lost their parents because my grandma passed a few weeks after we lost our dog.

I understand this one. We lost our beloved labrador about 10 years ago... She was 18 human years old when she passed. She had three tumorous legions on her brain and we had to have her put to sleep because of her advanced age. The vet didn't give her very good odds at all for surgery. Even after 10 years, it was hard to purchase the pets pack because it made me think of my sweet girl.

This is actually heart breaking, even pixel pets shouldn’t die alone!

Oh, Brooklyn doesn't have any noticeable CC on her either. She just aged up a little while ago and joined the Writer career.

I teared up when my founder died. She maxed out 5 skills, completed the fishing aspiration, and had all these extra traits. I debated on bring her back to life but decided not to when I realized I still didn't want to take care of 8 sims lol
