I think the money tree has its place in the game. My current rich family pays about 29k in bills each round. Ive heard of other simmers with crazier amounts for bills. (I don't have money tree and the family is just one working adult with two kids so its actually quite fun to try and not get in the red.
I also want to try out the SNB mod that forces you to pay property taxes. KiniHokulani shared that her sim property taxes cost 15k each time. So yeah, I wouldn't mind the money tree to ease out the challenge when I get to that point.
