More realistic and affordable ways to learn the logic skill?

As far as the household-ownership bit goes, I converted the Oasis Springs museum into a Science Center where Sims can go to use the microscope and telescope. There are chess tables in all the parks. Smaller things like this would be great, though, along with something like doing Sudoku on a computer.
