It's just cumbersome to only have comically large variants of these objects because there's just not enough space in normal homes for them and they look out of place in so many builds.
Also, it's a bit weird to have a chess table in every household where logic is needed, so can we have computer chess back?
I know we can already read skill books for everything, but that's usually too slow compared to using a skill object/not as entertaining. And the chemical analyzer/chemistry lab are more career specific than something any ordinary person would have.
When I still played TS4 I was a little disappointed that chess was not part of the computer games. And the microscope... geez.
