There is a big difference between late June and early July. Late June is the end of a quarter which means EA can recognize the revenue from the pack as soon as June ends. Meanwhile early July is the beginning of a quarter and EA wouldn’t be able to recognize the revenue until September is over. They’re much more likely to release games at the end of a quarter rather than the beginning. There has never been a Sims expansion released in July for example.
True, but they have said they are going to release 20 DLC during the fiscal year, and time is wasting if they don't start doing that and soon.
That isn’t what was said, and the fiscal year doesn’t start until April 1st. The exact wording was 20 content drops, not DLC, and they were speaking about the entire Sims lineup: PC/Mac, Console, Mobile, and Freeplay. EA has never, ever, released 20 DLC packs for the PC game in one year I don’t know why anyone would jump to the conclusion they for some reason would now.
