Moschino Photography is a forgotten skill

I have a travel journalist and a paparazzo in my game already and they are both fun to play. But I agree it would be even better of the game actually recognized that I just got a photo of a celebrity sim cuddling in a hot tub with a high level politician (for example). As it is now, I could just take a picture of the same wall segment over and over and it wouldn't make a difference. (Iirc Sims 3 kept track of what you took pictures of and lowered the sell value for repeated captures?)

I find Photography in the game very tedious... or am I just lazy? Haha. I wish there's a way where the Camera mode doesn't get pulled up every single time you take a photo of a Sim. Like the "Take a Selfie" interaction from the phone. Just an animation playing you know but still with the checking of the outfit, and other requirements in Freelance Photography career

I like photography a lot, but what I hate is that with Moschino skill whenever my sim is taking pictures of others with tripod they immediately become good friends. I'm not sure why such insane boost of relationships? As always a bug or a feature? But this is the only thing I actively dislike in it. Currently I'm thinking if it's possible to come out with the sort of photo-booth using Moschino stuff. Since they can take pictures of themselves. But I didn't try this yet.

I would love to see them do more with photography I absolutely love moschino and once I start taking family photos or riding around on my bike getting landscape snap shots I can't stop lol.
That's why I wasn't too upset about the simstagram stuff from the snowy escape trailer not being real. (Though an up grade to this would be nice) we can pretty much do the same with moschino. It's going to be perfect with the new hiking. But yea, would love to see improvements to the system.

idk my one big annoyance is the lack of poses and backgrounds with photography
I don't feel like moschino added enough to that

because for me the main events id take pictures of my sims are weddings, family portraits and perhaps when my sims are travelling

but for example there isn't really any nice classic wedding poses or anything so i keep having to try take pictures of my sims doing something else

which again is soooo complicated cause the time pauses at whatever moment your sim finally gets the camera out and its not always the moment you wanted so then you have to keep exiting entering the camera mode cause you can't unpause the game while in camera mode to get something better

and i also still wish we could have some filter to make photos appear older and antique frames and fancy old backgrounds though i do know thats not exactly what youd expect with moschino fashion photography but idk its just a need

even if obviously i could create the backgrounds myself but its just sort of annoying to have not even one option for like old style vibes so i always need to make huge sets for it

I hate it that I have to keep making manual pictures to level up the skill, which levels slowly too. It's the most difficult skill to level up.

Yeah, I cheat photography up a lot because I don’t really want to delete hundreds of pointless screenshots.

I rarely use photography. Personally I prefer using the paint from reference options.

yeah i wish they wouldn't auto add camera pictures as screenshots or we had toggle to turn that off cause sometimes i want the screenshots but most of the time not

also would love to use that but the grainy filter on top of painting annoys me cause none of the other paintings in game have that and it looks off

like it doesnt look like painting texture to me more like glitching

This. Imagine 10+ photos in the screenshot dialogue with the same face and pose from the same photography client Sim. There's not even a multi-select or delete button in there! That I use S4S whenever there's like over 50 because it's much faster deleting screenshots from there
