Raven (the sim in the 8th and 9th pictures) is a "foster Mom", and Hannah and Jacob (as well as Jacob's twin sister who happens to be the ancestor of Raven) consider Hannah's older sisters to be Mom figures due to plot reasons.

Well the rest of the world had Mother's Day in May. (wether it was yesterday for like New Zealand and Austirla since for them it's Monday today) or today for people in North America, etc
