Thank you so much for replying! I had started installing stuff on my new computer (windows11) before reading this and I didn't disable the OneDrive which explains why my document file is in a OneDrive subdirectory. Is the fix to disable OneDrive and follow the instructions above? My documents folder on my C drive is empty, and the location of my Sims game seems to be C:\Users\Smatt\OneDrive\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4. My bootdrive is 1TB on this new computer, so I could probably leave the cc on the C drive and have enough space.
