Multiple Platform Simmer

I have been playing Sims since the beginning and I got my games on multiple platforms.  I got my Xbox Sims 4 going with the Love/Hate scenario and still haven’t gotten “Krazy Kim” to like me, lol. I got my Sims on EA app so I can play that on my pc and Mac. Lately, I have been playing Sim 3 on my pc which I still love because of the trips around the world. I just love making my French juices! I have recently let loose my Mac and playing my Sims 4. I love to see so many of ya’ll on here Simming it up! 😍

  • I have Sims 4 on PC, box One and PS4. 42 packs on PS4, 30 on Xbox and 6 on PC. I play mostly on PS4 because I prefer a controller over a mouse and keyboard. I do have Sims Medieval and Sims 3 on PC. For Sims 3 I have 11 packs.

Yeah, I know what you mean! I prefer my console to the computer. I have Sims 3 on PS3. I still play medieval sometimes on the pc. I will play Simcity too. Sims 3 to me is better because of the freedom of movement. 4 took away the movement between lots, and you can’t ride in a fancy ride. I will be glad when the console controls stop trying to act like mouse controls and give us more freedom in game for movement.

I played Sims 1 on my sisters PC, then we bought it later on console. I also had all the other games on consoles up to Sims 2. My husband bought me the PC version of Sims 2 and I hated it at first. Not because of anything in the game, but because I didn't want to learn new controls and new gameplay. At the time the two versions were very different. I did eventually switch over and absolutely fell in love with the game. I've been on PC since. Now I wouldn't go back. My husband found the Urbz, originally from the Gamecube but able to be played on the Wii, for me awhile back. But I just couldn't get into it. If they ported it over to PC though... I'd be in heaven.

I remember the Urbz, it was on PlayStation. The Sims need to work on the controls for console so it feels more like a console game than trying to replicate computer controls. I thought I was bogus for still playing Sim 3 but you still got 2? I can’t find that disk for anything. That’s like Windows 95.😁

I played Sims 3 until 2019. I play 4 now, but yes, I also still play 2! I had disks, but registered them on the EA app back when that was a thing. Then they got automatically moved over to Origin as several collections, then automatically traded out for Ultimate Collection in 2014. When I had to get the EA app, thankfully it moved over to that and didn't disappear. It plays just fine on Windows 11, although I did have to tweak the graphics rules a little in order to resize the game.
