Music mentor

Question

My sim is trying the musical genius aspiration. She has to mentor someone in music for two hours. My sim hasn't been successful in this so far. She saw two sims playing music at two festivals but the option to mentor didn't come up even though she has maxed the guitar skill. When she visits lounges, no one is playing music.
How can I get this done?.,

Frankly, I've never tried to have him mentor a stranger. It's always been someone in his household.

I tend to leave the mentoring of music for when my sim becomes a parent, then they teach their kid the piano or violin (depending on which, or both, they themselves have mastered.) Most of my sims master the violin pretty quickly because mentoring a kid in it is also a great way to raise Parenting skill.

He gave his eldest, a son, a nice child's violin when he aged up from Toddler. Then he mentored him on the piano. Erik is proficient on guitar, violin and piano. I just got him a cc drum kit. Already he's nearly capped out on that, too. Musical Genius, for a certainty.
