... before the ceremony?! No matter how close to the ceremony I buy/bake the cake, the Sim whose inventory it's in always sneaks a slice or two :s

The camping cooler chest should work though. Those don't share the same inventory as a refrigerator.
I know fridges share inventory, but the OP said the cake was in the sims inventory. I was merely suggesting they remove it from there and put it somewhere less accessible.
