... before the ceremony?! No matter how close to the ceremony I buy/bake the cake, the Sim whose inventory it's in always sneaks a slice or two :s

Yah, I wasn't sure about that myself. I use a lot of overrides for game items that look like they "should" be containers, but aren't, so I can't always keep track of what things are really storage and what aren't in an unmodded game.
The Sticker Boxes which I mention can hold food though, and I know those are containers in the game and not related to any overrides I use. Same goes for the picnic basket.
