I wish that you didn't have to constantly switch between them to achieve goals. I would like to see it so that if you complete a goal even while the aspiration isn't selected then it could still comp...

Even tho I can see your point, I like the way they are implemented. Cuz maybe, not every player wants to let their sims complete their other aspirations 'in the background'. So it's nice to have that option where it's only active when selected.
