My child Sim won't go to school!? (SOLVED)

So... there seems to be a bug in my game that's preventing my Sim from being able to go to school. Whenever the time comes to send my Sims to school, his sister (who's also a child Sim) has no problem going... but he won't. I can't even click the "go to school" button on his face icon OR under the "job/career" section. This didn't start happening until he joined 'Scouts'. However, even after I quit scouts, he still cannot be sent to school.

Has anyone else experienced this issue? And how did you fix it (if you did)?

    That is why I stopped having my teens from getting a part-time job, or the scouts, because they just won't go to school. I could never figure out how to resolve it either.

    I actually just managed to "fix" it... I'm saying "fix" in quotations because I'm not sure if this is a one time fix or if I'll have to do it every time... however, I decided to have my Sim travel to a different lot... and then I was able to send him to school. I'm not sure if this will have to be EVERY TIME... but it seems to have worked so far.

    I recommend you at least try this method as well... hopefully it'll be fixed soon in a patch.
