My concerns and questions about the new My Wedding Stories game pack

In the livestream, the Simguru had to manually cancel the flower pal sitting so that she'd walk down the aisle. What if the flower pal is not in my household/non-playable? That means she'll just ...

It includes that the veil is (veils are?) part of a hair style not a separate hat (unless I misheard that in the livestream).
Also I saw nothing to suggest that wedding formalwear is limited to new items. It seems to completely chosen by us.
