My Few Gripes About "Seasons"

My biggest issue with CL is that all of it’s biggest new features are locked away from the player. Apartments can barely be edited, and cannot be created from scratch or placed in other worlds. The festivals are assembled using base game content, and like apartments are created in the world and can’t be modified. Even some lot traits are locked to specific apartments; the most noticeable trait is needs TLC and that’s not even something the player can put anywhere. It only exists in like 3 apartments.

As for food stalls, I don’t find those particularly fun. It’s just a stand where you can buy some food. I know some players like having all sorts of options for food, but I really don’t pay much attention to what my sims eat. Food is food in the game. I don’t really use the singing skill, I think it’s after effects are super annoying (sims singing everywhere all the time).

I think the city is way too dressed up, personally. I’m not someone who’s impressed by world props, which is what 90% of each neighborhood is. All in all I get that it’s a pack about living in the city, and partaking in city activities, but that doesn’t mean they had to lock every new feature into the city and away from players to use freely. Most of it was just not necessary.
