A lot of things can be said about EA, the state of the franchise and the direction it's taking, when you look at the fact that they published this pack, but there is one thing I appreciate: we are given every opportunity to find out what's in a pack before it is released. I was very sceptical about the pack, so I watched the live stream (there is always a playback available) and I also watched a couple of reviews (EA provided early copies) on YT. I decided to pass. With anything you decide to spend your money on it is up to you to put in a bit of research.
This comment will probably be read in a harsh tone, which is not intended. I just don't understand why not all of us take advantage of the information sources before buying a pack.
Sorry if my post seems harsh, it was not intended. I'm not taking yours harsh at all. :) I also like that they show the content of the pack in advance.
Research is not needed in my case. I'm not fond of toddlers/children at all. I'm not a family oriented player. I like pets and in real life I've got some pets, but I wouldn't ever dress them. For me it's unnatural and it's not fair to try to "humanize" pets. So this pack is just not for me.
The thing is that the forums are flowded with lots of petitions for other features and EA releases something that is far away from all those petitions. What are they thinking?
In my opinion this game lacks of many important things and these "features" are the least I need right now.
