My Game has completely reset?!

It's as if I'd just downloaded it.

I opened it up today and I'm getting tutorials pop up, all my library creations are gone (most of which I backed up) - MC command center is missing from my mods folder, my screenshots are gone - everything as if it's brand new! I haven't uninstalled or reinstalled anything!
I only played it yesterday!

Also the sims 3 has completely removed itself from my computer.

WHAT IS HAPPENING?!?! HELP!!!

You can delete the new sims 4 folder, and place the old sims 4 folder into documents -electronic arts folder

We were posting at the same time earlier and I didn't know that you had found the sims 3 and sims 4 folders

OK, so (I know it might make no difference but I don't want to get this wrong) when you say:

Replace the whole sims 4 folder. It will then be back to how it was before you had the issues.

@rosemow Thank you SOOO MUCH!!! I don't know what I would have done without your help - the number of computer problems I've dealt with over the years; as soon as something like this happens I start thinking I'll have to fork out for a new PC.
