Well if you don't mind cheating a bit, then give him some of those points for the potions and special traits, use with Testingcheats True, on, then punch in Sims.Give_Satisfaction_Points and then the number of points you want, I would go with at least 20000, I think the Moodlet potion is 10000 at least, have him drink that, and it should turn him back to normal!
