I moved my YA out of her parents house and in to her own, but when it's time to cook a meal she puts it on the stove to cook but then takes it off right away. There is a bubble above her head like there is something in the way but nothings in the way. I've moved the kitchen to the other side of the house, deleted the stove and bought a new one, nothings working.

Do you have counter space perhaps?

Well I just loaded my game back up and she can cook again. :D

Hi, my sim won't cook either...when i click on cook salade or something she just waves, i'm from the netherlands so i didn't get the answer..i still don't know what to do? what's the Dresser? en what's CAS? create a sim demo? and how do i load my game agian or something? alot of questions haha

My sim had just started to cook when her boyfriend knocked at the door, I invited him in and he immediately went to her and started romantic conversation/actions, so she put the meal stuff down on the kitchen counter to interact with him. I then queued her up with "resume cooking" by clicking on the meal stuff, but she couldn't do it, just kept indicating that something was in the way; I tried moving it to another counter, to the table, even to the floor, but she still claimed something was in the way. Eventually I told her to clean it up, and this she was able to do. No idea what was going on with it but she's had no problems since. :\
