My sims are constantly in mourning ever since that patch update

I don't remember which patch it was but it was a recent one where now every time an elder sim my sim happens to know dies of old age I get a call about it. I understand my sim being sad about a friend...

What, really? Sims are also getting a +2 sad moodlet when an enemy dies??? That makes NO sense! I agree with the above. When it's an enemy dying, then the Sim getting the call should either get a happy moodlet or none at all, depending on their traits. Evil, Mean, or Hot-Headed Sims would probably be happy, everyone else getting no moodlet from it at all if none of those traits are present.
