My sims are constantly in mourning ever since that patch update

I don't remember which patch it was but it was a recent one where now every time an elder sim my sim happens to know dies of old age I get a call about it. I understand my sim being sad about a friend...

I'm with Reg, on this one. I got sick of Happyville, and Sims not ever being notified someone they knew was about to die and or had died. Shallow Sims and Happyville of TS4, is one reason I prefer TS2. Besides, enough decor (turn them on) can make a sad moodlet not even matter in TS4. You have all sorts of things to 'turn on' to make Sims feel something different. Why all the complaining, when you have answers at your fingertips.
