My Sims keep getting a job offer they can't take

In Get Famous if your Sim's reputation is high, they will often get phone calls offering them a job (starting at a higher level, not at the bottom). But sometimes they offer me a Gardener job - which is apparently a career available in Seasons. I don't own Seasons, so even if I accept the offer, I don't actually get the job. This is a little annoying...
