My vampire sim doesn't know he cant go outside in the sunlight

My first vampire sim continues to go out in the sun to do activities. What is wrong with him? He isnt even that low level anymore, he is on the level 2 book. I swear he is going to kill himself one da...

I think that it just may be a part of the game. You need to keep,watch on the vampires to avoid them spending too much time in the sunlight.
