My vampire sim doesn't know he cant go outside in the sunlight

My first vampire sim continues to go out in the sun to do activities. What is wrong with him? He isnt even that low level anymore, he is on the level 2 book. I swear he is going to kill himself one da...

:o I haven't given my vamp the immunity to sunlight as he has amazing abilities of self-preservation. I wonder why he knows to not eat human-sim food and get out of the sun... He has maxed Lore so maybe that is the difference?
