Ok, after a few false starts, I finally had a wedding go well enough to grab some screenshots. This was Carrie and Finn's wedding. Both are born in game.

The groom has the likes Art trait, so his fiance bought him this painting from local artist Dom as a wedding gift. Really love how the easel is set up here overlooking the beach and ocean.

Decided to go back to the centre to buy another cake an hour before the wedding so it would last the whole day. Trying the new roast duck recipe.

I selected the Markovics as the Sims of Honor. Victor as the officiant. His son Jace as the ringbearer. I messed up the flower pal I wanted to select Tomi but I chose Greta and didn't know how to change it.

Gosh I took so many pictures...I'm starting slow with a test family before I use my simself and prepared families. Anyways I just randomized some sims and only changed a few things for testing. Oh also so far I've only seen the let's action not working, like let's eat and dance you can dance without that I think and we still have to call the meal option so that doesn't matter.

I had to check out the slow dancing it looked like we got some new dance floors and I just wanted to make sure the dancing wasn't tied to them they actually moved to where there was more space. <3

Whil they were looking at outfits I saw you could pick out outfits here and then I had him look at the wedding parties it's very detailed I wonder if we can have a family gathering when we're not getting married. So naturally my couple needed family and something about how the mother in laws showed up said trouble was brewing or could be heh.

She asked her teen sister to be her maid of honor and I realized I had forgotten an extra child but I'll just see how it goes, he asked his little brother to be the flower girl cause why not.

I let them get home to have their rehearsal dinner and let maid of honor serve the bride, I don't care about the pouring the tea sets are adorable.

On the buffet table there is now put out an assortment not sure how many combinations there are, calling for the activity is what seems off maybe I'll have to try with a family that isn't living together too.

I realized this house doesn't have space for all of them no matter how nice it is so I added some extra space, the groom to be was getting moody cause I let him dislike the music that was playing but I found that funny so let him suffer.

He was pretty much impossible by this point getting a negative relationship point one after the other with his future sister in law cause the music was just killing him....which is hilarious. You're awful petty to be getting so petty but you're right get it out in the early years.

Oh and of course Mama Blanche is undecided on her son in law so she's planning on staying till her first grandbaby is walking, or longer.

"Don't need what honey? A mother's love?" ah the guilt, great for the wedding....I realize he needs a guy friend they have best men right? maybe one with a daughter to be the ring bearer.

The Tartosa lighting is so lovely!
I'm amazed at how they manage to create such specific lighting for each world
It would have been easy to make this super bright, cartoony, or golden, given the beach theme, but they made this lighting kind of pale, luminous, and gentle
It reminds me a lot of Spain.
