I didn't see a thread for just general discussion on the pack (not positive v negative) so I wanted to make one :) This is for any discussion on the pack that is more neutral and not strongly positive or negative

This worked in my game:- I could buy a wedding cake and it didn't spoil during the celebration.- My Sims walked down the aisle.- I had no problem to exchange vows and rings.- The guests sat down (and talked all the time).- I could feed my partner with the cake.- Slow dancing worked fine.- At least one guest threw rice somewhere on the lot.This didn't work- I had chosen an officiant but he did nothing.- Nobody came in wedding attire- After the guests were sitting they never stood up again to attend any other actions.- I could not cut the cake with my partner.

PS: I have the impression that the pack is not so buggy as it seems, BUT the micro management is incredibly non-intuitive. We probably have to rehearse this many times.

I guess going forward we'll have three threads for each pack. Positive, neutral, and negative. ?@alanmichael1 I've decided to do the wedding and reception on different days and not try to incorporate every possible celebration component. I'll probably turn it into a weeklong celebration. I need to search for and decorate some venues where the individual events will be held.

Wow that’s so cool. ?
I really preferred the older cover designs. Each expansion pack icon was a different colour. The Game Packs were more eye catching.

This video goes through all the things fixed by the patch and those that are still broken. I think it gives a good picture of where we are with the gameplay portion of the pack.

Just a heads up; can’t speak for anyone else but her cut the cake interaction didn’t work because Agatha stole a piece not because it was broken.

Yes, and it has also been mentioned that you have to take the cake topper off first. I think we are learning that this game pack requires a lot of strategy to work properly.
