One thing I did was move all the principal players into the same household so that I had control of them all.
The bride & groom, her parents, the bride's two sisters, who were her bridesmaids, the officiant, and the best man. I didn't have a ring bearer or flower pal.

That's what I'm thinking of doing, too. I determined that would have to be my second go-around, Problem is, they both have large families. Using MCCC to allow for more than 8 on a lot, cuts out ways to use the normal game mechanics without losing Sims over the subscribed number of Sims! It's a real dilemma. So much for the "fixes". I still have to repeat the ceremony just to get the pictures I need to tell the story. Thank you for the advice. I'll see if I can make it work.

I don't have any parents living in Erik's house. I did move in his three brothers, and sister, and little Mercedes, the Flower Pal. I also came to realize part of the problem may have been the location of the venue. I had it on the island in Windenburg, forgetting just how long it takes Sims to get there! It is now on the 64 X 64 near the water. Wish me luck. By the time I got things set up, I had very little time to actually play my game. I'm near the evening of the day before the wedding. Surprisingly, and happily, I didn't have to have my Sims secure their wedding party again. I just had them set the date and voila the Ring Bearer was listed this time, and so was the Flower Pal. Interesting. Very, very interesting. Not only that, but I was able to take everybody (one at a time) to check on their desired garment. All should be set.
I am looking forward to some better photos, this go-around. If the wedding doesn't come off as I hope, but I get pictures, I can do something with that for the update. Wish me luck!
