I'm not interested in weddings and I don't see any new gameplay. It is only an extension for existing gameplay. It would be ok for an stuff pack but from a GP I expect more.
the slow dancing is new. And we get a functional tea set which can be used for at Chinese weddings (maybe non-Chinese weddings).
I hope the tea set can be used at any time.
It better be able to be used at any time. This pack is way light on day to day game play options. - I'm very disappointed that there don't seem to be any new ways to propose. Seems like an oversight to me. Why can my sim propose at a table, put it in a drink. Just something more than just ONE way.
> Overall, the pack looks cute. But I'm still waiting to hear about an attraction system. Hopefully they can patch it in. What type of romance can you have without attraction?
Yeah I'm disappointed with this as well. I get the game pack is about weddings, but what about things in the run up to weddings! I don't think we'll ever get an attraction system in the sims 4.- KaraGaelford4 years agoSeasoned AceI just want my sims to stop randomly flirting with strangers and thereby wrecking their relationships... for me that would be the most romantic addition possible.
- I'm remaining neutral on this to not get my hopes up too highly.
I think it's great that we can finally add some structure to a milestone life goal, and that you can finally bring close friends/relatives into the mix. And the assets provided look great. I just can't help shake the feeling that I'd be much more excited if this was released in 2017....right now I'm looking for things that really deepen our Sims personalities and there are significant consequences to the actions our Sims take, none of which I've really seen in the trailer.
The trailer was cute and entertaining but I get the feeling that a lot of this was staged. Taking this into actual gameplay I don't think that there is anything to suggest that Camille would get moodlets to let her know that her unlucky husband is not the one for her nor do I really feel that Dominique will *really* care about Camille marrying someone else. These Sims will just go through the motions as they always do.
I wish there was an attraction system or something that would deepen relationships so we could have one sided relationships/nuanced relationships to prove me wrong but I think if there was this would have been mentioned in the blog.
Don't get me wrong, I'm excited for slow dancing, tea parties and variation of weddings but at this point now I know that the limitations of the base game will unfortunately drag the potential of this pack down....sorry to be a Debbie Downer! - Lonewolf10444 years agoSeasoned AceThis not really negative as I will not be getting it so I can't say anything negative about it and I can't say anything positive about it neither.

I believe there will be a moodlet and a sentiment if a sim is left at the altar, but I wonder whether it will be a special sentiment or just hurt or something like that. I'd like to know if there will actually be an option to click "leave at the altar". I think non-committal sims can already do that autonomously and get a confident moodlet. Is Camille non-committal? I agree that there probably won't be a way for a sim to think they are marrying the wrong person :/ "haisin;c-18053436" wrote:

There is apparently an option to leave at the alter already in game. I'd like to know if this pack helps expand on that but I very much doubt it at this stage. The blog does mention "Wants and Nots" so I think there will be tense/sad moodlets like "These aren't the flowers I like!" If you get what I mean but overall I don't think there will be anything deep to suggest that Camille would prefer to be with Dominique outside what the player specifically directs.
Hopefully there will be extra sentiments that come with it which run deeply ie how will Dominique react to being "Sim of Honour"? Will she just have a moodlet which runs off the back of the interaction or will there be a deeper running sentiment that her "bestie" picked her? Unfortunately I think it may be the former....
Its hard to explain but I hope that makes sense?- My biggest complain is that they keep on making deco items attached to each other. And what makes it even more frustrating is that they know how much builders hate it. We've been complaing about it for years, yet they keep on doing this. Ugh.
Just look at this gorgeous lantern and these cute little plants. I would love to be able to use them separately. But I guess forcing us to use them together is the logical way to go?
https://i.imgur.com/nnb5zsh.png - I didn't see much 'new' stuff in the trailer to do. I gave my opinion before watching the trailer now I'm going to add to my complaints. lol
Slow Dancing...as seen for one second in the trailer..are Sims going to break out into that other dance move (seen in the trailer) while slow dancing? Oh, bother. :s Said Pooh to Piglet.
Is slow dancing just for this pack? How darn unfair is that! if it's true.
Tea 'time' is just for this pack? :'(
Dancing on an adult's shoes..from TS2 as seen in the trailer..just for this pack and not a base game update?!!!! Biting building nails to hold my tongue. Lots of angry bird faces for this.
People might say, well, we have to get new features in a pack but honestly people have been begging for slow dancing, kid interactions such as dancing on a parent's shoes, etc. and or even a tea set. It's like Maxis decided well, we don't have a lot of new 'gameplay' in this pack let's throw in what they have been begging about for eight years so we can get this pack off the shelf. :smirk: How dull in the brain do they really think some of us are when the very things people begged for are in a pack with very little replay value if people play a legacy etc. Sure it might be ok to go through all this but for every wedding? I doubt it.
