Nanny never leaves
When I got twins in the game, I decided to hire a nanny (it was too much work!) The thing is, she never leaves. She watches over the kids night and day.... I've not hired a nanny before so I don't really know, but is this normal?

- Mine usually stay about 24 hours. This seems to be normal for them.
- My nanny never stops calling inviting my sim kids out to the clubs. He's creepy!
- I have the same thing in my game but at least the nanny cleans and helps out so it's not like they aren't being useful while they are staying at my sim's home. When the children age up, I dismiss the nanny.
- My nanny has never left. She's still there even after the children have grown into young adults and teens. She's actually there right now, waiting on one of them to have a baby. Which is due any day now. I don't have the heart to dismiss the poor thing because she's become a part of the family. (It's odd she hasn't died by now.)
- Yes. Generally they stay until you dismiss them, though I think I've seen a few leave on their own.
- I have always had to dismiss mine, had one there in my house for a week.

and yeah my nanny never seemed to leave when i had twins/trips. Alway had to dismiss them...- Yeah, pretty sure you have to dismiss them, otherwise they'll think they're invited into your home forever.
- I haven't had one in awhile but mine would stay nearly 24 hours then leave for an hour or so and come back. Not enough time to sleep but maybe it was the games way of resetting those needs. They could have changed how it was done in a patch though.
- My nanny stuck around for like a week and a half. Then one day he randomly left. It's funny even with what other people have said I can't tell if it's a bug or a feature.
also like others, my nanny still calls my children inviting them to the clubs and stuff. He weirds me out. I don't hire nannies anymore.
