Nature's Calling Event: Share Your Gameplay Thread (Ends Sept 2nd)

Did anyone else have Sims complete event tasks on their own? Mine not only went fishing when I sent her to the park, but also crafted exactly two sculptures right after I bought her the reclaimed woodworking table. Not only that, as soon as the relevant task was completed, she lost interest in woodworking.
