So, I have finally started playing this event. Here's my sims having a picnic in the park in Copperdale. They had beautiful weather unlike in their home world Windenburg. Flora plopped the blanket right in the spawning point and they had quite a lot of visitors, but the food was good and the sun was shining.
Christian did the fishing. (He caught a log. 😁)
Later, they watched the stars together.
And the beautiful view of the amusement park pier and the moon shining over the waters.
They took their cat, Starbuck, with them and poor thing was distressed because it couldn't find a single littler tray in the entire park. 😁 (Seriously, EA, please allow cats to do their business outside. Thank you. 😄)
Here's Flora crafting herself a knife block on the new crafting table. So far, I liked this event. My computer was slow to update and there was some gameplay lag. Also, did they remove the quick food options from the fridge? I couldn't find them.
Love the Touch Grass magazines. I noticed two of them make reference to Sims 3 world, Shang Simla and another one I didn't recognise, wonder if they are hints of new worlds to come to TS4?

Right, crocobaura?! The dogs can do that with no problem. So why not the cats, too?

The Quick Foods option for fridges is auto off when the "Simple Living" option is chosen for the lot. This bums me out, as it also means you can't have your sim grab OJ from the fridge, to self-heal a cold. Speaking of, EA/Maxis need to introduce an Orange tree to the game, so that sims can make their own OJ anytime they want. 🍊😊

Thanks for letting me know. I don't usually use the quick foods and wasn't aware of this but this time the sims were both tired and hungry and they could have used something quick to eat.

If you place the BG lunch bag (matches the backpack), or Kitchen Clutter bento box style lunch box somewhere on the lot (or in a Sim's inventory) then Sims can get quick meals & drinks from that. As a bonus, if placed on the lot, Toddlers can use them to feed themselves if grown-ups are occupied.
